Welcome to our National Team's Homepage
The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual evening, fundraising walk. It is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and treatments for other types of cancer, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. These treatments have helped patients live better, longer lives. New, research on targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue is providing drugs and procedures that are improving quality of life for patients.
This year, we will be forming a national fundraising walk team for LLS’s Light The Night Walk. Please join our national team today by registering for a local team below (select join) or, to start a new team in your area, click here.
All walkers are encouraged to become Champions For Cures by raising $100 or more to help fight blood cancer. Walkers who raise $100 or more will receive night of walk benefits including:
- Light The Night t-shirt
- Light The Night balloon
- Wristband which entitles the walker to food and refreshments
You can also make a donation to support our national participation by selecting a team member from the list on the right and help save lives. Be sure to check our Web site frequently to see our progress. Thanks for your support!
