Team Fullerton's Honored Hero Jennifer Triplett
Oct 30, 2017 by Renee Abbott

We would like to introduce Team Fullerton's Honored Hero, Jennifer Triplett! She has been chosen by Steve and Stephanie to be our team's honored hero because Jennifer is the daughter of Stephanie's brother.

Jennifer was diagnosed with a very rare blood cancer, Myelodysplasia with Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobin at age 14! Through many treatments and the incredible efforts and talents of many doctors in Arizona, Jennifer is now cancer free!

The fight, faith, and determination of this fearless, beautiful, and loving yound lady is the reason we are determined and committed to supporting LLS and Light the Night Phoenix 2017 by walking and donating on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Phoenix Municipal Stadium at 5 PM.

How can you help?    You can help by joining Team Fullerton at http://pages.lightthenight.org/az/Phoenix17/FullertonFinancialTeam

This will allow you to register to walk, donate, or both. We will have a Team Fullerton Table at the event where we will gather and walk together. To all those that register and raise a combined total of $100 or more will recieve a Light the Night t-shirt and dinner!

This sweet photo is our niece,Jennifer with her husband Tyson, and all the cousins!

"Cancer. Especially this type takes many of our loved ones before it's time. This disease causes an enormous amount of heartache and suffering. We have family members and friends that have left children, grandchildren, spouses, parents and good friends heartbroken because they were taken away by cancer. In most cases this disease tortures people and causes them great suffering before it finally takes them away from their loved ones. This particular type of cancer is even more offensive because it targets young people also. Losing a young person in your family or watching a friend do so is incomprehensible. This is probably why we have words to describe someone who loses their parents or spouse, but We don't have a word for someone who loses a child. No language I am aware of does. We pray that no one has to go through this. However, since it does happen sometimes, we hope that our donation will help to eventually prevent these hurtful loses. "
