LEMONADE STAND UPDATE!

LEXI RAISED $260.61 AT HER LEMONADE STAND!! SHE WAS SO HAPPY! THERE WILL BE A STORY IN THE PAPER ABOUT HER ON 8-25-09 IN THE ATHENS MESSENGER!!


As you know, we lost Dad/Pa this year on February 18th at the young age of 60. He battled Chronic Lymphocytic Cancer (CLL) for 4.5 years.


Dad participated in 2 clinical trials, which we credit to him being with us the last 4.5 years. The research for both trials he participated in were partially funded from money raised by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

This year is our 5th year participating in the Light the Night Walk. We have walked every year since Dad's diagnosis & we will walk until we can't walk anymore! Together we WILL help find a cure for cancer!!!
