Welcome to my Light The Night Walk Fundraising Page
This year for my birthday I asked people to donate to the LLS instead of giving me gifts. Wow... people were super generous, and I've raised way more than I did last year. I'm already looking forward to doing the same thing for my birthday next year!!
I'm so close to my goal of raising $1500 for the Light the Night walk this year. Want to support me? Donate by clicking the Donate Now button on this page.
Or come to our BAKE SALE before and after school at Coleman Elementary school on Tuesday November 10th. Hope to see you there!!!
My story... in the fall of 2010 my dad (John) was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After many rounds of chemo and a successful donor stem cell transplant we are so grateful that he is finally considered cured! So yeah... I'm pretty grateful to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (and all the people who donate to it) for making all those advances in amazing groundbreaking treatments possible!!!

Here are two pictures from last year's walk:

We are living in an extraordinary moment. The LLS is on the brink of incredible breakthroughs that have already begun to change the lives of thousands of patients; treatments that can manage a person's condition with a daily pill, therapies that seek out cancer cells and kill them, and the use of a patient's own immune system to eradicate cancer not someday, but today.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds those treatments.
