Team Jack's Mannequin is proud to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) as well as the Dear Jack Foundation and their goal to discover new information about young adult cancer. Team Jack's Mannequin is a national team that uses Light the Night as an opportunity to kick cancer's butt every year. Last year, nearly 600 of us walked around the country and raised over $100,000 for the LLS through this unbelievable team.

Jack's Mannequin is a band that has touched all of us walkers over the years. When singer and pianist, Andrew McMahon, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia in 2005, the fans took his sickness as an opportunity to fight the horrible disease he was fighting himself. Many of us donated money, blood, and even bone marrow so we could help those who were suffering. Upon Andrew's remission, he created the Dear Jack Foundation and Light the Night's Team Jack's Mannequin.

There is no doubt that we are a strong group of individuals who just happen to have been united by our love of music. Through our own personal hardships, the death of a fellow fan and Team JM member (we miss you, Matt), and fundraising struggles, we have helped raise over a quarter of a million dollars to fight cancer in the past few years alone. We are proud to be members of a team that is so extraordinary!

This year, Team Jack's Mannequin is once again looking to reach that $100,000 goal. If we can do it, it will be the third year in a row that our team will have been able to reach that incredible number. The Worcester team asks you to please consider donating to us this year. Cancer is a reality for far too many people and funding is needed in order to find a cure and help those who are sick to fight harder than ever before.
