Welcome to Team Libretto's Light The Night Walk homepage.

Since 1998, the Mandelbaum clan, in some form or another, has been participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. It all started at Hofstra University on Long Island, NY, and continues to this day, for all 4 of us, in Overland Park, Kansas.

This year's walk will be on Friday, September 24 at Corporate Woods. If you want to become a Team Libretto walker, just sign up on the bottom of this page...all are welcome!

This event, and overall organization, has personal meaning for our family since Donna is an ALL survivor. At 2 1/2 years old, Donna was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) and was aggressively treated for several years with chemotherapy. The outcome was superb and she has been in remission for more than 25 years.

So, as a family and a small business owner, we continue to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Light the Night. This marks our second year as a patron sponsor of the event and we are encouraging our families, colleagues and clients to show their support for such a worthy cause. Please donate to Team Libretto and make a difference for those battling cancer and their families that fight along side them.

So what is Light The Night?

Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) annual walk and fundraising event that pay’s tribute and brings hope to people battling cancer.

The funds raised help provide research, financial assistance for patients, educational materials and local programs. In fact, in 2009 alone, LLS researchers were conducting more than 90 clinical trials, a critical step in the development of new treatments and cures that will help patients live better, longer lives.

Please make a donation to support our participation in the Light The Night Walk and help save lives. You can choose to donate to either the entire team (donations are split amongst all team members) or one of our "official" members of Team Libretto listed on the right of this page.
