Please Help Me Make a Difference

Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's evening walk and fundraising event. It is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.

We are walking in remembrance of our friend Chris Blok. A group of us wanted to raise money to help others, like Chris, fight this desease. He taught us all to never give up and to help others whenever we could. Throughout his battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma, Chris never gave up hope that he would beat this disease and despite losing his battle with cancer, he found victory through love. I am proud to walk next to my friends for this special cause and I would not miss an opportunity to make Chris proud! I know he will be walking with us in spirit.
