I am excited to once again be participating in the Light the Night Walk this year on October 18! Thank you to everyone who has supported my efforts in helping out the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society these past couple years in addition to my involvement on the Young Hearts culb at Woodson. Your support helped us recieve an award at the Swedish Embassy this past March for being the Top Friends and Family Fundraising Team in the D.C. Area.

Due to my strong passion for the cause, I am excited to announce that I have now taken on a leadership role as one of the Light the Night Team Captains for the upcoming season and I could not be more excited!

I am a Young Hearts leader because I want to raise awareness for a cause near and dear to many, including myself. I care about eradicating Leukemia and Lymphoma and the effects these ailments have on those who come in contact with them. The LLS has ignited a movement that allows people to recognize the changes in people lives it's volunteers are making, and being a Young Hearts leader gives me an outlet to partake in this incredible movement.
