Welcome to my Light The Night Walk homepage. A few weeks ago, my wife's best friend lost his partner to cancer. As a way of supporting my wife and our friend, I have agreed to walk in Light the Night 2009, and help raise money for Team Jason. I know that times are tough, and that many of you don't know Stuart, or his partner Jason...but I ask that you give to support me as your friend. Though I would like to raise a whole lot more, my goal is only $250.00. If each of my friends were to donate just $5 or $10...I'd be there in no time. We all know someone that's been affected by cancer. Please help me help them find a cure. If you'd like to know more about Jason, please visit the Team Jason home page. Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's evening walk and fundraising event. It is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and treatments for other types of cancer, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. These treatments have helped patients live better, longer lives. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue are providing drugs and procedures that are improving quality of life.
Please make a donation to support my participation in the Light The Night Walk and help save lives. Be sure to check my Web site frequently to see my progress, and thanks for your support! |
