Welcome to the TEAM JASON 2010 homepage.
Jason Harmon fought hard to beat Burkitt's Lymphoma. He was diagnosed on May 28, 2008. After 8 months or gruelling treatments, the cancer spread. But even then, Jason never gave up hope as he continued to fight. By May 2009, Jason knew time was running out. He proceeded to live his life fully and spend as much time as possible with those around him, those who love him. On May 28, 2009, exactly one year to the day of his diagnosis, Jason lost his battle with lymphoma.
In his memory, Team Jason was created to continue to raise awareness of this awful disease. We were blown away by the outpouring of love and support, and the incredible generosity of the many people Jason touched. We raised nearly $11,000 and became the #1 Friends & Family fundraising team in Dallas. This year, we're continuing to remember Jason through raising money and awareness of blood cancers.

And now, Team Jason is sadly adding another "In Memoriam" name to its list. Stuart's cousin - Bernie Sigel - lost his battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia over the Memorial Day weekend. The family has graciously requested any donations in Bernie's name be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Team Jason. Please click on Stuart's name on the right hand side of this page to donate in memory of Bernie.
