In Memory of Jenn Esposito

Jennifer Esposito was 28 years old when she lost her battle with Leukemia on June 12th, 2010. Her wish was that she would be able to participate in the October walk across the Brooklyn Bridge with her family and friends, being leukemia free. Although Jenn will not be with us, we will be carrying her memory in our hearts as we participate in her honor.
Our fundraising goal was originally $11,000 to honor Jenn's incredible courage in her 11 month battle with leukemia. Once we passed that, we upped our fundraising goal to $20,000, and now have our sights set to raise $30,000. We can’t believe you’ve helped us raise so much in Jenn’s memory.
When we broke our first $1,000 raised, Jenn was still with us and was so excited that we could bring that much to the cause. Those that keep her in their hearts know that goofy grin she would have today at this outpouring support. Thank you, Thank you for making this happen.
Please read the information below regarding what the Light The Night fundraising goes towards, and help support us as we carry on Jenn's final wishes.
Sincerely,
The Esposito Family & The Members of Jenn's Team

Thanks to all that helped make our party a success!! Through your efforts, the night raised $5,770 between cash and checks. My company has agreed to match the cash portion of money collected, which means once that money comes through, we will have donated a grand total of $11,120 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society due to the event’s success. Thank you all so much for your generosity!!

Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's evening walk and fundraising event. It is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and treatments for other types of cancer, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. These treatments have helped patients live better, longer lives. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue are providing drugs and procedures that are improving quality of life.
- A donation of $25 provides patients and their loved ones with FREE booklets that contain up-to-date information on their disease and help them make informed decisions about their treatment options.
- A donation of $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.
- A donation of $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for cures.
- A donation of $1,000 makes possible one- on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.
Please make a donation to support my team's participation in the Light The Night Walk and help save lives. Be sure to check my team's Web site frequently to see my team's progress, and thanks for your support!
