HELP ME MEET MY 2010 GOAL AND TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Our team page gives you all the details of who we are helping and why. If you haven't taken a look at it you should. I couldn't have said it better. But why am I helping? Other than the fact that it is a great cause. My mom is a breast cancer survivor so I know how important supporting cancer research is. When the company got behind blood cancer research, I supported them. I am finding that each year we are involved, the more people around us whose lives are affected and you can't help but wonder, what if down the road it hits closer to home and we need the assistance? We would look to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for help, guidance and assistance.

The event also gives me an opportunity to teach my son Caleb philathropy at an early age and in the future my little one, Deuce, will be introduced to it as well! From May through September, Caleb is donating a portion of his recycling funds towards the fundraising efforts to help the team reach their goal, and mommy too! I won't lie, it is also fun to have some competition in the office :)

If you are so inclined, take a minute and donate....any amount is appreciated $1, $5 or $10. You don't have to contribute the amount specified below but the amounts outlined below provide you with interesting facts about what The Luekemia and Lymphoma Society can do with your donations:

  • A donation of $25 provides patients and their loved ones with FREE booklets that contain up-to-date information on their disease and help them make informed decisions about their treatment options.
  • A donation of $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.
  • A donation of $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for cures.
  • A donation of $1,000 makes possible one- on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.

Please make a donation to support my participation in the Light The Night Walk and help save lives. Be sure to check my Web site frequently to see my progress, and thanks for your support!

Blessings!

Jaime
