Welcome to Sacramento's Friends of Heroes walking in memory of Addison.

Friends of Heroes is a national Light the Night Friends and Family team. We are comprised of moms, dads, families and friends compelled to help find a cure for blood cancers.

Friends of Heroes is the largest team of this type in the country and we have raised over $1 million for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the last 4 years through Light The Night Walks.

This year in Sacramento, we will be walking in memory of a beautiful littl girl named Addison. She had leukemia. She passed away January 11th. She has won over our hearts and we want to hold these balloons in her memory this year.

Before the walk, we will have a special balloon release in her name. We ask that everyone on our team participate, we will meet up beforehand and release the balloon.

• A donation of $25 provides patients and their loved ones with FREE booklets that contain up-to-date information on their disease and help them make informed decisions about their treatment options.
• A donation of $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.
• A donation of $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for cures.
• A donation of $1,000 makes possible one- on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.
