Welcome to our Light The Night Walk Team homepage.

I wish you all could have met Michael Selhorst, a gentle and

loving man who lived in Whittier, San Francisco and then Santa Barbara. He had many friends and I was fortunate to meet them while he was dying and also at his memorial service last January. At that time I decided to "do" this walk because I wanted to be with Pam and Kris again, and they said they would come here for this event, in his honor.

I have become close to his cousin Anna and while sending out emails, I learned that

Linda lost her father to leukemia when she was only 12.

My dear friend Kristin's mother-in-law also died from this disease and we walk in her

memory too. Honestly, watching the donations come in is the best I've felt since

Michael left us last November. I am so, so grateful to all of you.
