Thank you to everyone who has donated to Team Blazin With <3 and gotten us to 44%!We are now one week away from the walk and 56% away from our team goal. If you have not donated, please consider donating and helping to find a cure.
I know some of you are saying to yourselves "I thought she was done" or "isn't she finished yet" Well, no she is not. Liz still has six months of treatment and then 10 years before she hears the words "you are cured" What a monster/worry to live with for the next 10.6 years. Liz is in remission, many fall out of remission, and many do not even make it into remission. We are fighting for their lives. Please help in this fight. Every penny counts, there is no donation too small.
You can donate by clicking the donate now button and join our team. It does not cost to walk with us and join the team, however it costs $25 to carry a balloon, $100 to carry a balloon and have a Light the Night shirt, or $10 to buy a team Blazin with Love shirt. If there are any left from the school sales, we we will bring them to the walk. The shirts should be in next Monday or Tuesday. Please contact the school at 513-398-5025 and ask for the Comet Zone. Shirts are $10 and the profit goes to team Blazin with <3 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
Liz had heavy chemo last Tuesday and is now rebounding from the side effects. She missed three days from the side effects but now has her "game back" as she says.
Thank you for being faithful with your prayers, friendship, and donations.
Blessings,
Christine

Lizzy is now 15.5 years old. She has been battling Leukemia since October 25, 2008. We have had some extremely rough seconds, minutes, moments, and time over the past 18 months, but Liz has never lost sight of the prize. Her life!
She has more spirit, spunk, faith, tenacity, and adversity in her life than I have in my 46 years. I admire her more than I can even begin to express to you. Liz has shown me how to love and live life to the fullest; even at her sickest times.
One of Lizzy's wishes is that she wants a cure for Leukemia. She understands that the treatment will always be brutal on these kids and that it will rob them of some of their childhood. Her question is, " Does it have to be as tough?"
There are emerging drugs that will lessen the severity of the damage done to ALL the cells. These new drugs will target only the "sick cells." This is all due to the research made by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Without this society, our survival rate would not be 90%. All the money raised goes to this wonderful organization and helps Lizzy make her wish come true for future kids.
Please take a moment to prayfully consider giving to our families cause. Any donation is a wonderful gift.
Blessings,
Christine Lothrop
