Year 9! Wow.
Aug 06, 2018

The Angels in The Outfield are back for another year of fundraising, support, and fighting blood cancers. We continue to battle the vicious disease in honor of those who have fought and lost, especially, my father Michael Courtney. Dad was a coach, confidant, engineer, father, husband, and definitely "one of the good guys." He is the epitome of bad things happening to good people. In his honor, 8 years after his passing, we walk to keep his memory alive. And we fundraise to make sure that fewer people are diagnosed this year. We aim to bring the total number to zero.

In 2017, the Angels were awarded the Milestone Award for our efforts over the past 8 walks. We have shown our strenght, motivation, and perserverance similar to that of Caroline Harmon. Princess Caroline fought with all of her five year old might. A driving force behind our team, she was full of spunk and love. Help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their efforts to keep children alive and thriving.

No family deserves to suffer the hardships cancer inherently brings. Please consider donating to the cause. We aim for our lofty $5,000 goal but know with the love and support of family and friends, we can surpass it! As always, email with any questions. Hope to see you at the walk!
