Cody was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 28 years old. He suffered from a mild cough for months and saw doctors who had no answers. Finally, a scan was performed that found a large 14 cm mass in his chest. A biopsy was then performed to determine what the mass was.
We recieved a call confirming his pathology report as Primary Mediastinal Large B Cell Lymphoma when our second daughter was only six weeks old.
Cody will need to complete 6 cycles of chemotherepy, his regimen is 5 consecutive days of chemo at the hospital followed by a week of shots to boost his white blood cell count. He will do this every three weeks.
Cody is the definition of courage and strength. He stays optimistic and positive throughout this whole process, and is a light to all who meet him. During his first round of chemotherapy, he has connected with other patients and offered support to those who need it. He wants to use his diagnosis as a way to increase awareness and make a diffrence.

Money raised through Light The Night allows The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. In 2018, LLS helped advance 19 of 21 approved blood cancer therapies. Beating cancer is in our blood.
